I challenged myself to create an animated CV, 1950 Sci Fi Console Style to link to my show reel idea. I also used the CV to learn some new techniques in After Effects to create the Mind-O-Matic 9000. The protagonist from my showreel Carlos The Crab I used as the character that links the parts of the CV.
I created Icons for the different sections of the CV, I really love all the retro 1950's style neon signs in the US and I decided it would be a challenge to create them as Icons for the sections of the CV. Also I incorporated my love of retro platform games and had Carlos play a surreal 2D game throughout the CV.
